Mix the olive oil and carob syrup and stir until well blended. Add the spices, Dissolve the baking soda in the orange juice. As soon as it starts to effervesce, add it to the mixture. Add the flour and start to knead. Add the nuts and raisins. Shape the dough into cylinders, of 3 cm diameter and roll them in the sesame seeds. Cut them with a knife in one centimeter slices but don’t separate them. Bake in 180 C for 30 minutes. Separate them and bake for 10 more minutes.
