Courgette flowers stuffed with anari and feta cheese
Ingredients for courgette flowers and filling
- 8 courgette flowers
- 80 gr of unsalted anari
- 80 gr of feta
- Salt, pepper, oil for frying
- Grape syrup
Ingredients for batter
- 50 gr all purpose flour
- 50 gr corn starch
- 1 tea spoon vinegar
- 1 tea spoon baking powder
- 1/3 cup of cold water
- salt
Instructions
- Mix the cheeses in a mixing bowl, add salt and pepper. Fill the flowers with the cheese mixture using either a tea spoon or a pastry bag to pipe it in.
- Mix the ingredients of the batter until you have a smooth mixture
- Dip the flowers in the batter and deep fry them in hot oil until golden in colour
- Drain the flowers in kitchen paper and serve with grape syrup
