Cyprus Breakfast at Atlantica Hotel
At the "Atlantica Hotel", in a bright dining room overlooking the blue sea of Paphos, the day starts with Cypriot flavours.
The buffet is arranged as a stroll to the breakfast kitchen. For an energizing start, a selection of fresh local seasonal fruit juice is served at the dining room atrium. In the dining room’s "special corner" a selection of Cypriot traditional cold cuts and cheeses is served and a wide variety of homemade jams and preserves; quince, eggplant, citrus and more. For a sweet tooth satisfaction, the breakfast stroll does not end here. Continued on the central serving island, there is a wide variety of sweet treats, like syrup and chocolate cakes, fruit tarts, cookies, etc. All delights are created by the hotel’s acclaimed pastry chef. The Cyprus culinary signature is also evident by the use of local fresh produce. Special reference is made to the classic breakfast cereal served with local honey and nuts.
At the central serving island one can call on the hot breakfast section where hot dishes are prepared on the spot; fresh eggs, omelets, pancakes, etc. All dishes are prepared with fresh local produce and other local products. The delightful journey continues on to the bakery section with an assortment puff pastries and pies; traditional cheese pies and traditional spinach pies.
